Parts to Service Liaison 

Location: Harley-Davidson – Shallotte, NC

Well established local dealership is currently looking for a Parts to Service Liaison to bridge the gap between the dealership's parts and service departments. You will identify and order correct parts, track orders, and manage inventory to ensure technicians get what they need on time, ultimately reducing repair wait times and increasing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be friendly and maintain an outgoing personality.
• Knowledge and experience with servicing of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
• Experience with Point of Sale and computerized inventory systems or the ability to quickly learn.
• Complete knowledge of motorcycle parts and accessories.
• Ability to look up parts and quote prices for parts using the proper catalog for all Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED
• Interface with Service Technicians.
• Research and source specific part numbers and finding alternatives as needed.
• Build parts pick-tickets and pull correct components for Service Technicians. 
• Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously.
• Keep work area organized.
• Inform Service Writers of deliveries and delays. 
• Alert sales department of new unit arrivals following the established paperwork procedures.
• Update inventory control system and parts catalogs.
