Looking for flexible hours and short distance drive times? Harley-Davidson of West Virginia is searching for a safe, experienced individual with a Motorcycle endorsement and experience with hauling motorcycles with a pickup truck and trailer.

Our family of Harley-Davidson dealerships represents a multi-point dealership family situated in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Our family of Harley-Davidson dealerships is now accepting applications for a part time delivery driver responsible for delivering motorcycles between dealerships and to customers homes. This position will have flexible hours ranging from 15 to 30 hours a week depending on the needs of the business. It may require overnight trips on a limited basis but most often will be hauling between our 6 stores. To be successful in this role one must possess a good knowledge of how to safely load, haul, and operate motorcycles and a dual axle encloses trailer behind a pick up truck. There will be training provided on our equipment and expectations.

Position Summary: Driver

  • Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
  • Loads delivery vehicle with bikes scheduled for delivery.
  • Delivers bikes to dealerships
  • Assists with unloading the bikes and obtaining proof of delivery.
  • Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
  • Ensures that the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Ability to drive safely.
  • Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
  • Ability to plan delivery routes.
  • Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times.
  • Valid driver’s license including a motorcycle endorsement and acceptable MVR.
  • Must be 21 years old+
  • Must have at least 6 months of OTR truck driving experience.
  • Class A CDL preferred
  • Acceptable background check.
